Rs Specialist garage near Dublin, Ireland

Doubt there is one but thought id ask around. Had a snag list done up By Renault on my 197 and theyr looking for mad money for most of the jobs.

Dont wanna go to any old garage as the car is Full Renault service history so would like to keep it full Renault and Specilist if possible

[MENTION=5499]Jmax[/MENTION] was up in belfast for Tenants Vital on Friday had a poke about Charles Hurst. Main dealer but seems to be much more familiar with RS models than any Republic dealer.

Gonna start getting the parts needed togather when im back from a much needed holiday. Do you know any good indie Garages that know their way around an RS?

Theres AI Autosport who I use, he's excellent and not hard to pay. Although [MENTION=3002]-Eddie-[/MENTION] works for Charles Hursts and would treat you right I'm sure if you headed that way.

Shelburne motors portadown is Renault dealer and has Renault Sport Centre I priced them for a timing belt and dephaser pulley on a 197 last year came in about £700. But I bought the full genuine kit pulley and aux belts from ALS performance Carlisle, got a full Renault genuine locking tool kit for the job and got an ex dealer chief tech to do the job on a Saturday morning but I trust him any man that can get a type R civic engine into a 1980 mini knows what he is doing.

We would be about half price roughly for the above work and a lot less if supplying your own parts.
