RS Monitor query

Hi, Thinking about fitting an RS Monitor to my 197. Are they available 2nd hand? How much should I pay? What should I look for?
I've got a clone CLiP, but haven't been able to get the software to run on anything. - any suggestions?

I retro flitted one on my 200. I got the unit from Rofag on eBay. I managed to get my Clip clone to work to install it. The issue I had was that when trying to install it via Clip it refused to work with my cars VIN. When I used a VIN from a car that came pre-installed with an RS Monitor it then worked.

You will need a Windows 7 machine with a 32 bit version of Windows to run Clip. Find an old laptop and it should be fine. I think that if you “find” the Clip software online it will work for 7 days before having to be properly activated.

The problem is that second hand they will be from a crashed cars and breakers will not be able to spot one fitted to a car as batteries are disconnected and to most it's just another Clio and even the buttons to activate it I would say most owners will not know they have it fitted. I did have info to fit one to a 197 but it was not complete from other sites, but I think an aftermarket radio or Clio 200 radio with the phone option was required. Only the French are nuts enough to mod
