Resetting Long-Term Fuel Trim?

I want to compare shell v-power nitro+ to Tesco 99 Momentum to see if I can feel any difference.

Can I reset this and if so, how?

I had to slap in 95 Octane and now the car is running like crap again as the car has wound back on the timing etc. I want it back to how it was at 99 Octane but without the full 2-3 Tank wait time. I heard it can be reset immediately.

prob disconnect the battery is best bet

Disconnecting the battery does not clear the engines adaptive parameters. You will need to reset them with diagnostic kit I'm afraid to truly level them.

Do Octane boosters actually make a difference though? I watched that Fifth Gear episode and they proved them all to be crap.

They work but only to a degree as the engine management compensates for fuel quality amongst other things
