Replacing seats

Just got a cracking deal on a new set of sparco seats for the car. Only problem I can think of is when I disconnect the seats the air bag light will come one?? is there a plug i can buy to stop this or has anyone changed the seats in there's before??

perfect any idea where, the light doesnt bother me but not sure if the rest of the airbags stop working if any are unplugged dying to get them in aswell!!

im not sure but capital seating that deal recaro seats may sell them, but like i say im not sure.

Try Capital Seating, I am sure they will be able to supply something suitable.

if the system doesnt "detect" the seat airbags it will not work properly - put in resistors and the system then will work ok with the other airbags

ordered two plugs from capital seating thanks for the info. hopefully it wont be too difficult to wire the resistor into them !

I will do next weeks job hopefully wheels getting powdercoated tomorrow

I am doing the same mod at the moment.
But which carseat airbag wires do I need to connect to 2 wires from the resistor?

At the moment I am doing a test fit on the passengers side.
The connector has got 5 wires: blue, brown, yellow, orange and black.
The resistor has got 2 brown wires.
