Alright guys, just wanted to know how much I'd be looking to switch the front two seats over to Recaro's? Where is the best place to buy them? Are they difficult to fit?

Expensive if you are buying brand new once you factor in subframes as well, personally i would wait on a pair popping up on Ebay.

I just switched to a recaro, bought a used drivers side rs recaro but didn't check the seat over properly when i bought it on the side of the motorway & the seat base/frame had a bad wobble on one side & developing on the other side, looking at how the frame is made i can see ones that are being swapped in/out of clios developing the same wobble so if i was to buy again i would maybe just get a brand new sportster cs from recaro, with their subframes its about the same height as the ff recaro, maybe a tad higher, saying that the 197 style recaro looks amazing in the car!
The recaro is a great mod, its subtle how the seat holds you differently but it really does hold you better & i even enjoy the slightly higher position, makes me feel im pointing the car into corners better, and it is easily just as comfy as the original rs ff seat, even though i had to go through the stress of repairing the seat after paying £300+ for it in the end it was well worth it, the seats now much stronger than it was before except now when i sell it it will have lost value as its welded in the lowest position with no height adjustment now avalable :thumbdown: like the seat needs to go higher anyway :001_rolleyes:
I wouldn't say its a must have upgrade or that 'its half the car without them' as some guys here say, as the original seats are great aswell, but i am enjoying my car a bit more with the recaro in there, i consider it part of the 197/200 experience for sure
ps i have a drivers side recaro subframe available to buy (for the aftermarket recaro not ff)
