Renaultsport Mats

Does anyone know if theres a way for the renault sport mats to be fixed down as my drivers side mat keeps slipping under the pedals? I remember on my fiesta they came with some plastic brackets to fix it down, wasnt sure if there was a similar thing. cheers

Some of the later 197's came with connectors for the mats, so you must have an earlier one

Have you tried velcro?

yeah may have, when i got the mats there were no connectors, mines a 57plate btw. Will try the velcro though, need some for fixing down my footrest plate rather than fixing it with the studs. cheers.

My Renault mats have 2 Velcro tabs on the bottom of them, only problem is the bad design as they are stitched it on one edge only, so as the mat gets pushed forward the velcro eventually flips over and does nothing!

If you stuck them flat to the mats though that should work well

hes a great bloke and will be able to provide you (for a small fee) with some pin type things that go through the mat and into the carpet.
i have 2 on each mat and they aint going nowhere.
