Renault Sport Clio 197 Racing Red

Yes, it has. Only the seats remain to be retrimmed.

Waiting for Croatia to enter the EU so I could easily send my seats to Steve.

It's been a couple of months now that the filter hasn't been cleaned and <5kkm so I thought it was time for cleaning.

The only time slip that I'm not too embarrassed to show.

The traction was terrible...new asphalt but poor quality. 60FT should be 2.1-2.3s

Finally - I got my hands on the Clio 200 gear box, and Quaife LSD!

55kkm on the gearbox, and 20kkm on the LSD.

Wasn't sure at first which oil to use - stayed with 75W90.

Impressions?

I have a feeling that the car has more power now at the same speed (@50km/h it has 500rpm more) and it accelerates faster - but it could be a Placebo effect. Have to try it against other Clio's.

LSD? The best thing I did when it comes to suspension on my car. You just point the steering wheel and floor the throttle. Amazing!

Great pics and parts mate. Isn't 300V a bit of an overkill though? I read somewhere that these racing oils have a reverse effect on road cars unless of course they are changed regularly. But again this is something I read, not sure if that's the case..

It is a bit...
However, no issues with the oil in 85kkm that I've been using it.

Just change it at 10kkm max and no problem.

I've been using 300V 15w50 for my Cagiva Raptor 1000 for years now...
