So, I'm pretty new to the whole forum thing & I've been loving the community on here.
Along with that, also loving my 197.
Picked it up in April - 86K on the clock
I wanted to start a some what gradual project thread of my clio, along with opening up
my car to your opinions & pointers!
Some little things I've had done since owning it:
| Reupholstered gear knob - nappa leather with yellow hand stitch. Plastidipped centre config (OEM was scratched to bits)
| De-Res
| Carbon Fibre wrapping - door handles, door columns, dash centre (this was super stained upon purchase)
| Re-sealed mani-sensor with hi temp instant gasket to sort flat spot
| Removed C L I O badge
Things I want to do:
| New steering wheel - or at least re-trimmed
| Re
| Find new drivers seat - as my bolsters are collapsing bad.
| Lower - 30mm around
| Space out - 20mm around
| K&N or ITG panel filter
Issues happened since owning:
| Battery Fuse blown - towed to Renault
| Dead Radio & Clock immediately after said Battery Fuse was replaced. PLEASE IF SOMEONE KNOWS A FIX HELP ME OUT!
| Headlight globe blown - found that the previous owner lost the outboard cap for the light, moisture got in. ($70 for new cap...)
