Removal of rear badge

You will need;

PATIENCE

Tar/Glue Remover

Dental Tape - NOT Floss

You might also need a Hairdryer to help loosen the glue/backing.

It's simple enough to do, take some Dental Tape and ease it behind the lettering, work your way around the lettering breaking the glue/backing from the letters themselves. Once you've got the letters off you'll be left with some degree of glue/backing. You can remove this with Tar/Glue Remover but it's a slow process and you will need to be PATIENT!!! Don't rush it, you'll run the risk of scrathing the paintwork. Heat might help raise the glue too if it's particularly stubborn.

Oh, and give it a good polish afterwards too. :smile:

Which badge? If you're talking about the diamond, it just will pull off if you put a flat headed screw driver behind it.

The badges (ie clio etc) follow the above. Note on the dental tape, i found fishing line easier to use. Not everyone has it laying about tho.

Yes I am on about the diamond. Does this still pop off with a screwdriver if the rubber lock button is in the centre of the diamond?
