Recaros uncomfortable (wife)

Don't ever buy a Lotus then Chris, my wife won't get in it, she's been in it twice in a year and that's twice too many. Having said that it does mean I have it all to myself and can drive without hearing instructions of 'car... brake..... slow down' every 30 seconds

Might just get a lotus then @Fernández lol. Sounds like a win win to me matey. Your lotus looks amazing bud.

I managed a 1200 mile round trip to Scotland for a couple days and only thing my missus said was the plastic bits were annoying when she wanted to sleep. But yeah she likes them overall and I've done around 50k in my cliors with the seats and can say they are very comfy for a bucket seat

Same bud, when I went to Aberdeen to get them my mate who came with me said they are very hard just sitting in them for a second ( this is a guy who has track cars all his days) and then when I gave him a loan of the car a few weeks later he had it for a day and his whole opinion changed on them! He said they were so comfortable and so supportive and to stop fannying about and get it on the track lol! He said he could not believe the handling in it, he has 350 bhp sierra cosworth too. (GREAT LITTLE CARS).

Is a double edge sword mate. On one hand I get to enjoy the car how I like it as is my daily but then it means on weekends I don't get to use it much as we have to use Caroline's car.

Its getting there, not really done much with it, I've kind of taken a modding sabatical which in sure won't last much longer.

chris just came across this when searching for recaro information, i bought that 197 from pickering and it was indeed in excellent condition! very happy to have joined the comminuty. and have to say that my other half also complaines constantly about how uncomfy they are but the thing is so fun i dont reall focus on how comfy they are.

Yeah mate as The ANT said not her car lol! I actually find them comfortable. Enjoy the new car mate they are brilliant cars.

99% sure that is the one I spotted for sale. Absolute mint of a car. You made a good choice bud. You'll love the wee beast. Like the black wheels on gw :thumbup1:

honestly the roads dried up yesterday and i was shocked, you just cant take it into a corner to fast, its so much fun! and the wheels are deceiving, there actually a custom grey, mix between some manufacture's gun metal grey and hyundai's carbon grey. they look outstanding in day ligth when there clean chris1888-197

Yeah mate your car really looks nice. I remember when I was thinking about buying the clio my mate who works with us used to work at renault when the 197 came out and he got to test drive a demo and he said he couldn't believe the speed you can take these clios into a corner.
