Rear Tail Light Out

Guys & Girls,

My rear tail light is out (rear bar brake light) something is telling me i have previously seen somewhere that this is a common fault, switch or wiring? If true can someone please tell me how to solve the problem before i go replacing the light and finding out there maybe no need.

do you mean rear high brake light, as in the one across the top of the boot? dont thinks its a common problem, too be honest this is the first one ive heard of. be more then likely be the light it self rather than the switch, as the other brake light are working. could be something simple like corrosion in the electrical plug, try removing the light and finding how it plugs in etc including the main one on the boot aswel

Nope not seen this as a common fault neither

You haven't mentioned...have you checked the bulb??
