Had to cut little notches into this as it wouldn't sit in the tray properly


Clio badge off. Will probably get rid of the RS one also. Dirt gets between the letters and I prefer a clean look. Wiper will be coming off soon as well.

Got my private pressed plates on recently.
Also de-wipered today. Not the most sensible thing to do especially at this time of year but I think it looks way better!

Next will be a few little jobs to tide me over until the new year.
-I'll most likely get rid of the RS badge on the boot.
-LED Side-lights, puddle-lights, and number plate lights

Then next year I'll be getting the RS rear spoiler and side skirts. Might have a go at sticking a LCR splitter on as well.
Then plenty of track days. First on will be down at the Porsche Centre Silverstone to see what that car's like on the limit.

Got the black bage covers off eBay and put some carbon wrap over them.



Going to take the RS badge off soon to see what it looks like blank.
Bought this sticker to replace it if needs be. Doesn't really come out in the photo but it's got a metallic texture so looks quite smart. With it being a flat sticker I won't have the trouble of muck getting caught behind the letters.


Fitted LED side lights, puddle lights, interior lamp and number-plate lights just before Xmas.

A few plans:

Aesthetics
Cup rear spoiler, side skirts and try fitting a LCR splitter.

Performance
Centre Silencer removal, RS Tuning Remap, Sprint Booster.

I know the remap will hardly give any power advantage but I'm hoping it will iron out the supposed flat-spot you get with a straight pipe replacing the silencer.
Also hoping they'll be able to tweak the throttle response. When I'm driving about slowly but trying to be smooth heel & toeing and rev matching, the throttle isn't very sensitive so I find I've got to press a bit harder on the pedal than feels natural.
If this doesn't get solved by a remap I'll go for a sprint booster.

Did you just get the throttle body that was originally on the car ported? I'd be tempted to do that but a bit worried about it being obvious therefore voiding my warranty!

Nah, I bought a spare tb off a pal that was breaking a 182 (Yes they are the same), well the same as a 197, i guess the 200 is the same. Sent it off to willis, then he returned it ported. Swapped the two over then just had to drive it around for the ECU to learn the new tb. AFAIK the ported tb is undetectable. at the end of the day it is a bolt on item. So that the item can be swapped back! But they will never know unless they have the intake tubes off. Even then they probably wont notice tbh!

I've had a go with that laminex stuff before, found to pretty hard! Kept on creasing!

Got on of those RS wheel trim things off daverayner21 in the post today.

Was going to spray it RB to match the car but quite like the way it matches the rev counter....?



Next up, Cup Spoiler. Can't make up my mind to get it sprayed RB or gloss black to match the diffuser?

re the cup spoiler, I had mine done gloss black and liked it at first. Then i wanted something more subtle and took it off altogether. Now i would quite like it but in UR matching the car.

Black - Aggressive
RB - More subtle

Cup spoiler in itself is aggressive, colour will decide how aggressive though.
