Quick recommendation for engine coolant?

As per title people, can you please recommend me a coolant for our car? I had a look at opie oil website and apparently there are various products, different colours etc. Is every product compatible?

Also how much is needed? Thanks

In a simple nutshell you'll notice 2 main types available. Blue (Silicate) & Red/Pink (OAT).

The difference is basically the additives that are used to prevent corrosion. Blue stuff is generally used in older cars (pre 1990) and the red/Pink variety more suited to newer cars as the corrosion protection is much better for engines that feature aluminium.

Whatever you do don't mix the 2. Beat to stick to one brand that you know.

Renault Type D - It's ready mixed and is about £13 for 5l

They have it on the shelf in most Renault dealerships.
