Quick mid winter protection.

So on Hogmany I thought since I hadn't protected my car in a while I should give it a mid winter protection.

Me and my mates plan was too:

Pressure wash,
Wash it (two bucket method) twice with lambs wool washmit)
Pressure wash it again,
Dry with two microfiber drying towels,
Wax,
Sealant,
Vinyl care,
Window cleaner.

My aim is to just make a protection over the car since it has been around 2 months since it last got a wash and its done some serious miles since then. After winter I will be taking the car into my garage and giving it a full detail including machine polish (front bumper and bonnet are looking stone chipped and has some light swirls), arches cleaned and all other aspects covered.

Products used:
Lambswool washmit
Natty's Paste Blue
2x Miracle dryers
AG Vinyl Care
Car Lack 68
Bilberry Wheel cleaner (6:1 on the wheels and 10:1 on brake calipers)
Poorboys EX-P Sealant
Jeffs Satin Prot for the interior dash
AG glass cleaner for interior windows

looks great Liam,

i need to get some decent cleaning products for mine soon,

i do love a good detailing session.

Great effort there Liam!

The car looks brilliant - black is such a great colour when it is done properly!

I have to agree with Chappo there is something theraputic about giving the car a really good clean!

Looks great mate, wish I had somewhere covered to do mine!

I attempted it at the weekend and halfway through glazing the heavens opened!

come up well :thumbup1:

and please tell me you use an axle-stand when its jacked up....

Thanks for all the comments people, i agree with you lot, it is rather theraputic about washing the car.

Its unlucky when the heavens open up Adam! I feel for you mate, well i knew it was snowing etc, but it had to be done.

I still need to do the arches and im going to clay the wheels and do them properly after all the bad weather is over with. I always wash my car in that building, i have a huge

foxspeed, no i never used axle-stands, but i really needed to put my two front tyres on my back and back on the front.. but i used two trolly jacks and only did one side at a time. I need to buy some axle-stands.
