Thanks jimmy I've yet to see them in the dark yet will look after I think the flickering is just a bad bulb you get that sometimes I've had it in the past with my old cars. Yeah i got them from the links you posted the SMD canbus ones, nah dude it's childhood nickname haha

Ah ok, I figured it would be a bad bulb... They were the ones I bought too - they're spot on in the interior so far, just the numberplate lights. I might try swapping them around and see if it helps. They look great in the dark, just so much more modern!
Haha fair enough! I was watching Suicide Squad last night and that's what got me thinking! We're not all comic book/movie geeks

Please share what you think people were doing wrong with the bulbs

Well after doing it earlier only thing I can think of is when people are using a screwdriver to get the bulb out of the holder with it still connected which is bridging the connection and blowing the fuse
