PS3 Blu-Ray

....I'm gonna purchase a new TV today and the prices of Samsung Smart 3D TV (37") are not much more than a non-3D unit....so I am thinking I might as well get a 3D....PS3 will play 3D compatible games, so I am assuming that it will handle 3D Blu Ray films as well......is this correct? Can anyone advise on the res from a PS3...again I assume it will be 1080 (full HD)....

Yup, PS3 will play 3D Blu-Ray films!

And it will be in full 1080p

3D not my kinda thing, but if you like it, go for it!

If you go for 3D, the 2D quality will normally suffer as a result. I've heard a lot of stories about 3D and how it's not going to last. You can already tell with the fewer amounts of films at the cinema coming out in 3D. I'd check reviews of the 3D and see what it says about the 2D quality because that's what you'll be using most of the time!

I have a Samsung smart 3d telly and I love it greatest picture I have seen on any telly 3d or 2d. Go for it
