Hi All,

I'm looking to pick up a pressure washer and have found new Karcher ones on eBay for £42.99 but wondered how good these are likely to be? Im not a hardcore car washer so I am only really looking for something nice and cheap but I didn't know whether any one could suggest another one for a similar price?

Thanks
James

Machine mart - nilfisk

Brass pumps opposed to the karchers plastic.

Great flow rate on them too and a good gaurantee

Our Karcher one died, we repaired it and it died again, all within about 18 months of it being bought. Been using it's replacement, a cheap Halfords one, for years now and it's a good basic washer.

My karcher died after about 1 year and 1 week (just outside warranty!), they have plastic pumps that wear out. I wouldn't buy one again.

I replaced it with a commercial karcher one which has a metal pump and so far has lasted my about 2 years, still going strong

Check this out i bought it for 150 12 months ago n its an animal p150.1 b

Heard loads of bad stories about Karchers, but had mine 3 years and its been fine, not a single problem. I must be one of the lucky few! :thumbup1:

Our Karcher has laster pretty well to be honest (maybe 2yrs +) but my halfords one which was pretty much the same price broke after using it 5/6times!!

To be honest If I were to buy another one I wouldn't skimp as you'll get a crap flow rate and a broken washer after a while too :worried:

I had x2 karcher's before the nilfisk the internals in them went with only a couple of washes RUBBISH!! nilfisk ive got is the same as woodys never let me down in 2 and a half years!

Also it comes with a re-inforced hose ive had karcher hoses kink and blow.

Hi all,

I managed to source a nilfisk c110 from Argos today and picked it up earlier today. Looking forward to the weekend so I can get cleaning!

Thanks for all the help.
