I got asked if I wanted my car in the most popular selling french car magazine, so I couldn't say no! :lol2:
I took the day off work and had a plan of attack;
Looks like I had a mission on my hands, in the end it took about 7 hours.
I'll let the pictures do the talking (taken on my phone and not all stages pictured)...
Arrived nice and early
Rinse and snowfoam
Hand wash and recruited the girlfriend to help, she insisted deep cleaned the wheels...
Looks like she took the wheels off to clean these!!
While I the gf was doing the wheels I added the finishing touch to the car. For those who don't know its from my previous car the megane 225 f1 which we did the engine swap with after being squashed by a tree. With only 120 left in the UK I thought it was very fitting .
Parked her inside away from the poor weather.
Once clayed (didnt picture), we began polishing.
Ran the torch along it to find imperfections, the car was already nearly swirl free
more polish
Waxing the windows and plastics
Carlack nano sealed and collinite 917
Sparkels!!
Looking gleaming. :001_tt1:
Job done and tucked away.
A cheeky picture of Pauls monster 205
Photoshoot day, the sun was out shining the car was looking perfect. Although my phone didn't really take the best pictures which let the side down..
Big thanks to Paul at Tech1 for letting me use his garage for the day.
