Hi guys. Want to fit up Powerflex engine mounts.

Upper torque arm bush and Lower engine mount seems to be the popular choice.

Any idea how many hours labour I should be looking at from a garage?

Anyone had it done recently?

Cheers

will be about an hour in total..did mine apart from the upper engine mount with my mechanic, and it took us about an hour..did the torque arm myself...

How come there is 2 codes for lower engine insert?
PFF60-820
PFF60-920
Anyone know the difference?

The only ones I would do is the lower engine mount insert and the upper torque arm bush... apparently the upper engine mount adds a lot more vibrations so it depends if you can put up with it. The lower insert and upper torque bush seem to be the best compromise between tightening it up and avoiding rattling your teeth out!

+1 to this. With first hand experience. I lasted about 3-4 months with the upper engine insert and the vibration just became frustrating. After removing it and installing the lower engine mount instead, the car felt exactly the same to drive, but without the unnecessary vibration. Now running upper torque arm + lower engine mount and it's spot on. Car feels great to drive and vibration is minimal/barely noticeable. Also added the gearbox mount recently too, although I think the benefits from that are far less noticeable than the engine mounts.

Unsure what the difference is between PFF60-820 and PFF60-920, but as Pav said, go for the PFF60-820. Bought mine last year from TempleTuning on ebay - http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Clio-3-Sp...OUNT-INSERT-/121370492716?hash=item1c423ebf2c

Im running:
Upper Torque Mount - http://www.clio197.net/forum/showthread.php?43647-Powerflex-Poly-Engine-mount-Insert - Approx 25 mins
Lower Engine Mount Insert - http://www.clio197.net/forum/showth...-Fitting-Powerflex-Lower-Engine-Mount-Inserts - Approx 20 mins
Gearbox Mounting Insert - Battery and Battery Tray Removal, Support the gearbox, Slip the mount in. - Approx 30 mins

All can be found here: https://www.powerflex.co.uk/road-series/products/Clio+III+Sport+197-200+(2005+-+2012)-2881/1.html

Car has minimal vibrations and the engine is locked in.

Have ordered the Lower Engine Mount Insert and Upper Torque mount.

Will fit fit the Upper mount myself but get a mechanic to do the lower engine mount!
