Play in suspension arm pin/bearing

So I went in for my mot the other day and it failed on this:

"Offside front lower (swivel joint) suspension arm has excessive play in pin/bearing"

Went to get it sorted at local garage and they said they couldn't do it. Recommended me to go to Halfords or Renault. Also said it won't be a cheap job. Anyone else had this problem?

You'll risk having a bigger problem if you take it to Halfords. Best to find a local renault specialist

There aren't any Renault specialists in my local area.just want to know if it is a big job and what I should be expecting to pay

Thanks mate. Will give them a call tomorrow. Also found an independent Renault specialist in Lincoln which isn't too far from me so will give them a call too

Renault charge £750 a side, Aaron's autos are about £150
