Piston oil squirters/jets removal help

I've come now to the block on my rebuild and have started with removing the oil squirters as I want to replace them. I know they are press fit into the block but is there any hints or tips out there to removing these blighters? Last resort will probs be to drill them out and tap a hole in them to be able to wind a bolt into them and pull.

you can either drill them and then use a slide hammer or weld on a bolt and slide hammer them out...

Renault manual says use 7mm drill and then tap and use slide hammer

Okay great thanks, I'll get a 6.8mm drill and m8 tap from work and use a slide hammer
