People of Birmingham

On the 15th till the 17th i will be in birmingham with the misses. How sad this may sound the misses has wanted to go to caburys world for ages and im a sea creature freek. So we are spending some time in biringham traveling up mid day on the friday, Saturday going to the sealife centre and sunday going to caburys world then to travel back down south. Just wondering good places to eat and what not. We are staying in the campane hotel as it doenst seem to far from the sealife centre as you cant park there. Any information and help will be great.

Many thanks karl

There are loads of places to eat by the Sea Life center, Brindley Place is right by it and it has a great night life. You would be forgoven for thinking you were somewhere else! As for Bourneville, I can't think of anywhere on that area off the top of my head. But the Cadbury World tour doesn't last that long anyway. You don't gey as much free chocolate as you used to either! Borneville is a nice area of Birmingham, so I'd imagine there are some decent places.

It is one of our nicer hamlets but there are no pubs in Bourneville; something to do with the Cadbury brothers putting a clause in when they allowed the council to build on the land.

x2 for Brindley Place and that area..really nice to have a walk along the canals, lots of restaurants and bars to choose from.

And then there's 'The Mailbox' (Small 10 min walk from Sea Life Centre) which has:

- Bar Estillo (Tapas) http://www.barestilo.co.uk/ is highly recommended by myself, never had a bad meal there!

- There's also a Zizzi (Pizza/Pasta) http://www.zizzi.co.uk/

- Shogun Sushi and Noodle Bar

- Malmaison has a wonderful expensive restaurant if you want to go all out  http://www.malmaison.com/

Elsewhere San Carlo (Italian) in the town centre by the Cathedral...one of the best around!
