nothing quite so flashy for me, bit of a late starter due to a lack of funds, my first car was a crappy citroen ax that i couldnt wait to see the back of, hated everything about it, but it did its job and got me my first years ncb (no pics), second car was something i really did like



2.0 gen 3, not very quick but very comfy and well built for its time, probably would have kept it a lot longer if it hadnt started to cost so much to keep it on the road, after which i bought the 197 as i fancied trying something a bit quicker

thanks used to be a die hard ford fan had a black sierra rs500 then escort cosworth then went to the s1's had 3 of them lol got a soft spot for them.

Not a clue yet. Only certain thing is it'll be a BMW, I just need to get the price list through of all the cars when I start the new job (i have a rough idea of the M4 and M235i) and then I'll weigh up all the options. So will get the ball rolling on 1st June

Obvs depends on costs, insurance etc but shortlist would be:

1. M4
2. M235i / M135i
3. 435i
4. 428i
5. 430d xdrive

Merc used to be on the scheme too but annoyingly are now removed -.-

I did actually look at the A45 amg not long back. Nice interior, but didnt feel as special as the Trophy, plus is a fair amount at 42K!

I'm just hoping the prices are favourable, both on the car and insurance!

If not, I'm pretty sure of what the M235i will work out to be, in which case I'll be happy with that. But the other option to consider is going for something sensible and so increase savings for a house deposit

Yeah dont put yourself in a financial muddle for a car! Gota be realistic, hopefully you can do it though, would be nice to see at some meets!
