Oulton Park, 22nd October, Club MSV Track Day Trophy race

Hello all,

I have a friend racing at Oulton Park on Saturday this weekend, he has a Clio 200 Cup race car and his name is John Hamilton.
He's doing very well in the Championship and it'll be a great chance to see him in the last race of the year.

I'll be driving over from Sheffield on as many twisty roads as i can find so anyone wants to join me just let me know.

Cheers Roger, he's bossing it to be honest and against much faster (in a straight line) cars too; M3's etc.

Think he's looking to get into a proper Clio Cup series next year.

Think I'll pop over for this, still getting over my jet lag/hangover from Vegas though so might be mid morning. Hopefully get there before any of the actual racing.

What time you heading over mate? Any good suggestions on roads (rather than the usual boring Woodhead/Stocksbridge bypass)

Not planned the route yet and not sure what time to head over.
Qually is at 9:00am so i don't imagine i'll make that.

It was a good day out, Jacko 197 came along and what a very nice fella he is too.
Hope you enjoyed Meadowhell?!?!

The race didn't go so well as he only managed 3 laps after a steering arm snapped after a BMW M3 decide to use him as a brake.
There were a couple of 2000 cups out there on track and they sound immense, spitting flames in the process.

He's trying to raise funds to join the Clio Cup proper next year!
