Its funny as they had on the local news how locals are outraged they had to pay for them however they are selling for 5x and upwards on ebay.

Thing that makes me suspicious is that there are dozens of listings and not one of them says where they will be carrying the torch or the story behind their selection to carry it. That is a much of the history as the actual item itself.

This was on BBC news this morning. The torch owners can do as they please with them.

One sold for £153,000 and it was for charity.

When she said charity, she meant her own charity. When she said her own charity. She meant her gardening business.

Oh well - I'd have done the same to be honest.

Anyway - there are 8,000 of these things. £153,000 seems a tad overpriced IMO.
