Oil required to go from min to max

Sorry if it's been answered before as I couldn't find anything with the search, but how much oil is required to take the oil level from min to max.

My Clio has now done 3000 miles and has used a bit of oil during it's running in, but I'd like an idea on how much oil it takes to go from min to max in order to gauge how much to put roughly in order to save messing about with a dip-stick all afternoon!

one litre is the industry standard, i'd put half a litre in and wait 10 minutes, if its halfway up the dipstick drop the other half litre in.

Ironically mine never burned oil when running in but at 10k now it seems to drink a small amount all the time

Mine needed 1 full litre in 3000 miles. But then it had seen 8 laps of the Nordschleife and a full OPL day at Bedford GT. Thought it would have needed more tbh.
