Had my 07 plate 197 now for about 8 months, loved every minute. Started to do a few mods to it starting with the interior, going to look at the calipers, lights and roof wrap soon.IMG_20170528_174916_987.jpgIMG_20170616_130409_599.jpg

Second blue looks great and doesn't stand out as much as the other. Oddly I like the mudflaps too!

As a new member you need to state wether you prefer black or silver badges.

I never see other mud flaps, they were on when i got the car. Does everyone take them off or summat? As for badges, i do like the look of black ones, depends on the car colour. But to keep with the trim colour i like the silver, for now.

Yeah, didn't like the firat blue so got a colour coded spray and did it again. Looks so much better.

I would assume they're an optional extra, as I've not seen another with them. Keep hold of them though, they suit the car well!
Do you have any other plans for the car? What have you done already?

So far, just the interior. But i want to tint the lights, wrap the roof in matt black and red calipers. And re-spray the front grill as its faded a little. With all that done, black badges might look better. Whats with the silver or black badges?

Black v Silver badges is a hot bit of forum banter at the moment mate.

Nice car. I'd go gloss black on the roof, looks great. Or leave it as it is.

Anyway, welcome to the madhouse from a fellow Manc (although down south these days...)

Should look good when done! Little tip for the front grilles, don't just yank them out. Pull from the top first. Also, use plastidip instead of paint, it won't chip and is easier to use than normal paint, no need to use primer either.

The first blue was bright which is why i re-sprayed with the second. And thanks. [emoji106]

Gotcha - i can see the difference now i've opened my eyes ! Yes.....BETTER in the second :smile:

What else is on the cards with the interior ?
 
I'd imagine that's glued on from factory. Your best bet is get the airbag off and give it to a pro so that it's their problem.

I was driving through mac a few weeks back, was stuck behind what looked like an Rs, but when finally overtook, it still had dci on the side. [emoji85]
