Nurburgring Schedule for 2010 - help needed (you German lot!!)

I am organising a trip to the ring next June and they have now released the events calender for 2010...

The weekend of 18/06/10 there is an event on.....does this mean that the Nordschliefe track is shut and we can't chav it up round the track at all????

I'm confused.com!

I´d suppose so, as it says (Sprintstrecke/Nordschleife) and it looks like the event is taking the whole weekend.

To be absolutely sure you could email the ring staff though.

I have emailed them now, as believe it or not, I didn't actually think of that lol!

i'm going back over easter, i tried the dates for 2010 and nothing has come up btw

I wouldnt ever commit yourself to going without knowing its a definate Touristfahren date

Ive recently tried to help some friends go, who went against all my advice and booked their ferry and hotel... before the dates were released... and now there is a massive German bike meet on that weekend

Unfortunately I have to tell you that the Nordschleife track will surely not be open

for tourist use on Friday, but it is possible that you will be able to drive on it Saturday and Sunday.

But we don´t know exactely because changes can happen everytime. The best would be to look it up on our homepage www.nuerburgring.de -> „race track“-> „Nordschleife“ beforehand. There you get the latest information wheter the track is open for tourist driving or not.

Im suprised it hasnt been done yet, was gonna arrange one this year for the club but due to lack of interest sacked it off.

Maybe you should try again lol?
