It was a great day organised by our very own West Midlands rep, Arran. Started off a bit chilly but the sun came out for near perfect driving conditions. Credit goes to Arran for sorting a good route with nice roads and scenery.
I didn't get any pictures because I left my camera at home but here are some from Digi75 and GlassJaw. I'm sure Adrian will be along to post his soon too.
Digi75's Photos
This is me trying out the 400mm lens on Curley...
...and then on something closer.
These three are Arran on the 7D w/ 16-35mm F2.8.
Then me on the 5DmkII.
These were shot after we came back up the Horse Shoe Pass...
...then the HDR merged photo...
...finally the Arran shots. He didn't look too pleased with me for sneaking this photo in...
...but it didn't take him long to warm up...
Finally after a lony days driving on some very saltly roads...
...the West midlands rep photo for the rep calendar (there's an idea!).
And a very dirty Red197 with EVO sticker
