Noise when locking

Hi all just a quick question when I lock the car with the button on the door handle it's makes a really loud noise has anyone had this problem

What kind of noise?

Maybe it's the locks engaging ha

It's hard to describe its just really loud lol

If you've had a door open and press it twice it will make a fairly loud clunk, it's difficult to say if it's abnormal. Got a phone with a camera?

thats not right.....theres a fault on the dead locking system

It happened all of a sudden last night

Faulty deadlock, happened on mine. Brought a second hand lock from a breakers.

The problem is now fixed I didn't use the deadlock for a day and now it's fixed itself lol hope it stays this way

Mine was intermitten the grandually got worst.
