Nimbus Grey 200 [emoji7]

So, I had an Albi blue for all of 2 months, Renault Parkwood are the worst, I got a refund, I bought this. I fought Renault and won

She's a Nimbus grey, (I think anyway? He was saying its Gregorio grey which I've never heard of at all lol), red leather recaros, sat nav, blue tooth, projectors with cornering lights, cup pack. All the toys

Plans are the same as my old one, exhaust and map, coilovers and spacers and I'm happy

Cheers chaps

Glad to see you've got one you're happy with  Those seats must have cost a fortune to get retrimmed, don't think there's another Clio out there with the same interior. Wouldn't mind having those in my car

Love it mate! I have the same seats but in grey. Not the usual grey & white in the same way that yours aren't the usual red & black. My car is white with black roof though I wouldn't have chosen this myself just loved the spec & mileage v price. Enjoy your car.

You bought it then? I think I saw you post about this on facebook a day or so ago?
Looks awesome with those recaros.

Recaros were a £2500 option from Renault apparently? Lol, rear match the front seats and got red leather on the door cards also. Seems to be a very rare option, only found one other with them on a Google search.

I'm muchly happy though

KTR have a white one with this option for sale just now but it's pretty pricey.

Yeah I've seen that one mate, thing is, mine are still different lol that was got black parts to it, whereas mine are all red, not sure if extra must have been paid for this when it was new, but haven't seen all red ones anywhere lol

Yeah I think he must have ordered them specially. My grey ones don't have any other colour on them while most have white sections where those ones are black. I know that the car's 1st owner specified that he wanted them in only one colour & that he felt that for £2.5k he should be able to have that. Fyi the covers are from Trim Technik somewhere on the Wirral should you ever need repairs on them. They refitted mine free of charge when the leather came slightly adrift from the seat back. Good service.

That is very useful to know actually mate, mine are doing exactly that in places, so may get in contact with them [emoji1360] cheers for that

So got booked in today with my chosen specialist Ren7oaks, super friendly guys and always looked after me there with previous Renaultsports.

Going in for belts and water pump, oil and filters change, spark plugs, gear box oil and a general check over to make sure all is good. Bit of money, but at least I'll know all is well [emoji1360]

Also took a trip to whitstable last night for spontaneous chips on the beach, couldn't resist taking some pics...

Nice pics mate. Although in Inverness now I come from Surrey & used to often go Sevenoaks way through my work. Have great memories of a weekend in Whitstable with a bunch of folks too many years ago to mention. The more I see of your car the more I like it. That grey paint plus red leather combo rocks. Never really liked the white paint that I have but got it because of the spec & know it should be relatively easy to sell on though I don't intend to do that for many years as it's my 2nd car & weekend toy.

Me and my Mrs had our first date in Whitstable, so holds a strong place with us, always going there for chips on the beach. It's a beautiful place and pretty much on my doorstep.

It does work very well the grey and red, coming from Albi blue I thought the grey would be boring, but I actually much prefer it now.

Need to get those yellow halogen lights swapped out for some brilliant white ones  one of my favorite "mods" to freshen up Clio's

I was thinking this, but also cba with the effort of getting to the lights, can imagine it's a pig especially if it's like the meganes are lol

In all fairness, it isn't too bad. It's a bit of a squeeze but with a long flat head screwdriver and some wiggling of the wire's you can free out the bulbs, swap them over then push back in. Realistically takes about 30mins to do both sides - once you've sussed one, the other is much easier

Found guides [emoji1360] I'll get on ordering bulbs this week, any suggestions?
