New setup!

Finally got my full set of discs down to Rich (richandgem) last Saturday afternoon to get them grooved in a J-Hook design. Got a call last Sunday morning to say they were done!! Just wanted to show off the quality of the workmanship - can't wait to get these fitted along with some uprated pads, lines and fluid. I'm sure this setup will make a clear difference, especially considering I'm currently running the original fluid after 4 1/2 years...

Actually the design is one of the latest according to AP (see here - http://www.apracing.com/drawings/Individual Product Sections/2012_Brake Discs.pdf). It is said to be effective at allowing gases to escape, with an improved bite but without the grinding noises you might get with some patterns.

But not that any of that is particularly reliable information - I just liked the aesthetics :tongue_smilie:
