Hi everyone.
Just bought a blue 197 in what can only be described as nearly perfect condition. Think it has been garaged all it's life. Has Cup pack but std sports seats. Drives lovely, 67k and has belts done etc. rebuilt gearbox and many little bits attended to. Huge history from what I think are real enthusiast previous owners. I think the only mods are spacers on the front, which I may remove and see the difference. Exhaust might not be standard, need to look closer. Otherwise planning to use it for fun days and some track days. It won't get modded much, maybe a bit of breathing help in/out and replace all the flexi hoses and some pads.
Bit slower than my previous Mclaren, and current Boxster 718S, but should be just as much fun at safer speeds! Last track days I did were in TVRs which was a very different giggle again. See you all at Cadwell/Oulton Park and other twisty circuits soon
P.S. Insurance was really cheap at £176 p.a. even though officially my NCB is stuck on 2 other cars. My age/location/mileage are factors I guess.

That looks lower than standard cup suspension I'd say.
