:welcome:

think its every 6 years or 60k miles..and you are looking at £600 roughly..may be less if you have a good friend who is a mechanic

Perfect thanks lads.where is the best place to buy the timing belt kit and full service kit?any recommendations for a Renault mechanic in Ireland? Besides main dealer

5 years on the 197, 6 years on the 200. Or something like 72,000 miles. Check the flexipipe too. Lovely looking car, welcome.

Lol not quite, but I know what you meant @jimmyd81, there is a border between us

As for someone to sort your car for you thebenj., if you give @-Eddie- a shout he may be able to help you as I know the guys in Newtownards were offering some great deals on the belts and fitting, that is as long as you don't mind travelling.

If you have any other questions please don't hesitate to shout.

Cheers for the mention John. If you don't mind using a main dealer and travelling, I work for Renault in Newtownards and we are doing the belts for £379.

Hi Eddie I have relations in Belfast so I don't mind the spin up at all..wouldn't it be possible to get a quote for all parts associated with the change..dephaser pulley etc etc and also a price for labour as I might get it done with ye.i take it that you work for hursts?
