Hey guys,
I've joined up to your forum all the way from Australia.

Never owned a Renault or Clio before...all very exciting. I am defecting from VW. :001_huh:

Managed to get my hands on the very last remaining RS200 20th anniversary - Renault only brought 30 of them into the country.

Needs to come from another city...and will take around 7 days before I get it! Think I will have sleepless nights from now on in.

There are a couple of people from Oz on here, off the top of my head, Nath is from Sydney. Where you from there?

Stickers look good, I don't have any experience of buying things like that though!
 
hi all...i'm from brisbane which is roughly midway on the eastern coast of australia.

i've had the pleasure of visiting your fair country a few times...and simply drool to the sight of such cool cars!

renault's market presence in australia is very small, but i'm backing that it will grow pretty quick in the next 5 years. to put it into perspective, with brisbane's population of roughly 1.8 million... i've seen x1 RS200 on the road over a 6mth period! compared to seeing x10 mk5/mk6 GTIs, x4 Focus STs...and thats in 1 day!
 
Hey limmy I used to live in Taringa and also Noosa. Really like Qld; some great roads in the hills. I'm sure the Clio will be immense fun, wish I could bring mine over!
 
Nice looking Clio, what's the difference between the anniversary model and normal? We didn't have this model in this country did we?

don't know if you guys got it.

in australia we've got two versions. 200 cup or the 200 cup trophee.

the top of range cup trophee comes with recaros, height/reach adj steering, smart card, dark grey bumpers/diffuser etc, carbon effect dash inserts, folding door mirrors and titanium coloured rims.

the 20th anniversary is exactly the same as the cup trophee but with pearl white paint, black rims, black roof, black bumpers/diffuser etc and individually numbered cars (30 in australia). all for an extra $1030 or around 633 GBP.
