New Member from Aus - Red Clio 197

Hi there. I’ve just bought a red Clio 197. I live in Melbourne, bought the car in Queensland and drove it 2000kms home to my place.
What a way to get to know the car. Already loving it.

It’s a bit of a project. The sun has been harsh on the paint work so it is in need of some TLC but mechanically very good.

I’ll get some pics up soon!
Got any ideas for what I should do to spec it up?!

I’m going to get a couple of things done with the paint work - the red clear coat has faded / peeled.

repair the gravel rash on the wheels

the flat spot in first gear from 1-3000rpm is pretty annoying but that’s all I can fault.
it’s a hoot to drive.

Clean the pcv valve, throttle body and map sensor, then secure the map sensor down. Also get a throttle controller from EVC. It makes it feel like it has a tune under 4k.
