New manifold?

Hi guys...

My flexi pipes on my 197 are knackard and so its blowing from them! Anyone else had this problem? Whats the best thing to do? Replace the manifold??

Will this be any good? I know the original one normally has 2 pipes coming out of it, but this will fit with some cutting apparently...

Im from Manchester, so if anyone can help with any of this ide be very greatful.

Best thing to do is remove it and weld on some new flexi pipe. It will be miles cheaper than a new manifold.

The one in that link will give you 7-15 housepower though...

Haha yeh loved that "housepower" wowwww!!! Any idea where i can get some bew flexi pipes from? Cant find any on ebay

Dunno bout the horsepower claim but you will certainly get a flat spot with some raspy pops in bangs

I've repaired a couple with new Flexi's now. Good opportunity to remove the pre-cat while the manifold is out IMO

Cool. Ill have a look round for some new flexis. Is the MOT ok without the pre cat?
