New front Cup Shocks required (197)

It's not a tough job if you enjoy tinkering with your vehicle. You'll need clamps to compress the spring. Once the spring is secure it's really not a tough job.
Just to add to that, it's far easier to compress the spring when you have some good quality clamps.
 
I have spring compressors but don't have the time or the space, and the mention of hubs having to come off puts me off trying to squeeze it in on an evening on the drive.
 
I have a set from an early 200 (stiffer than 197 cup) available if you are interested mate, nearly new, 4k miles, pm me if you are interested.
 
In order of soft to hard...

It's about 15% between 200 and 197, roughly the same again between 200 Cup and 197 Cup.
 
Looking to replace with the same tbh. I like the idea of the slightly stiffer 200 cup setup but I think the 197 cup is a good balance on the UK roads .
