New front brake discs.. I need new pads???

Hi friends.. I'll change my front discs, i need to change also the pads or not?

My pads have 15ooo km, i wouldn't want throw them... :-(

I was advised to change my pads when fitting the new discs - that was advice from everyone!

It did seem like a waste as there wasn't any wear on the pads but it was so much better when they were bedded in.

depends how much material is left on them - if theres plenty you can flatten them off with some emery paper and a flat surface (piece of glass) so they will have a flat/smooth face and bed in to the new discs better and quicker

Just sand them down a bit, no need to replace them
