new from northern ireland

howdy peeps im from bangor co down had a fair few cars in my day il not embaress myself by saying how many but 9 of which have been renault sport 7 172/182,s 1 197 (current car) and an 06 meggy 225

altho i have family (3 boys) i dont like big cars and always liked my hot hatches

so here goes . bought my latest edition off a friend after i heard it was forsale he owned it for 2 years and added a few nice bits the stance sold me the car aswell as the history . its not the quickest car ive had but i love the look of it

07 ultra red renault 197 sport 47k miles kw coilies eibach spacers and a shed load of history

overall not bad condition . for someone as fussy as me id say a strong 7/10

i set about sorting the awful brakes first new brembo disks and pads and some fresh juice aswell as a tidy up behind the wheels

as the paint hadnt been machined since factory i spent most of this sunday hard cutting to get ready for the renault sport stand at ucs on the 24th of march .. i have been machine polishing cars as a hobby for around 15 years long before most self confessed detailers lol

no befores but as said pretty good nik ..just how it looks now

thats me about halfway there with the paint still another ten or so hours required

so far loving the car , changing the climair deflectors for some heko ones and will eventually fit a stumpier aerial , if anyone wants some wind deflectors for a ctr aerial let me know

To go with the red/black colour, try some black door trims/rubbing strips.

I bought a red door for a track day car i'm building and i trial fitted a cup rubbing strip, i thought it looks good, looks different as they did'nt do the cup in red.
