quite possible the ediff has something to do with it? don't agree with grease on the rear wheels as it would have came off when he drove up the road.. or the majority of it anyway.. could also just be shat rear tyres?

can see smoke from both front tyres so I'd vote its something to do with the ediff

Definitely the e diff at play... Or it could be 888's on the front and contis on the rear.
