Hmmm that vent is an interesting one. It could be for some sort of inbound cooling like the Kers like its been suggested. IIRC your allowed the vents on the front so long as they don't move and the driver can't interfere with them. Still seems a little like a stalling point, but Newey is a total fricking genius so who knows?!
