My UR 200

Thought I might as well start a thread on my UR 200

I picked the car up last Thursday after a right chew on !
And she looked beautiful couldn't wait to pay and disappear this is how she looked when I met dcidoble at asda



Havnt really left the drivers seat since I got her, gave her a little wash on Saturday with dcidoble and his brother





Had a nice drive to the Malton breakfast meet on Sunday And I just love the car more and more, saying that she needs a few tweaks but Shame I slept in and missed the meet at Stokesley >_<

Then today was time for a proper wash ! with thanks to dcidoble's brother (the ultimate detailer)

Clay bared, swirl Xed and waxed
Hovered inside thanks to jack (mr sheen everywhere by the smell of it) lol

IPhone doesn't give the cars colour much justice

Also got a private plate to put on this week early birthday present to my self will have a picture up,
On the look out for a steering wheel insert and at itg panel filter,

This to do :
Eibach Lowering springs
H&R spacers
Red wheel bolts
RS centre caps
Alacantara roof lining, (may be having a group buy on this)
Projector headlights
Sprint spoiler
Multifunctional tune point
Some kind of exhaust. Ideas?
Powder coated head in red
Map
stiffed slightly
Braided hoses
Grooved or drilled discs

Probably more things to do ,

A lot of UR owners seem to do this, don't get it myself.

I think there is just a tiny bit to much roll in the car when cornering hard and under braking , might just be with it being a non cup , don't know never drove a cup 200

Don't know which springs now :/ h&r or eibachs ? And do you have a ktec exhaust on yours mark ? What's it like at 60-70 mph ?

Yes James i have a K-tec on and is a tad droney at 60-70 but nothing that dose my head in,drop me a PM if your over my way and i will give you a blast out if you want.

Few little updates to the car.

Seeing as though it's my birthday close by and i had always wanted a private plate I bought one when I got the car and slapped it on last night , proper happy



Will upload some pictures of it on the car shortly.

Also thanks too Chris_200CUP I got myself a itg panel filter



Which was also put in last night .

well after 6 months without my clio after selling it due to getting a van, i bought it back last month :lol2:
and love it again ! ,



plus the drivers recaro has been retrimmed and that battery light stop coming on :thumbup1:

also managed to keep the plate on it , plus when i drove it home from buying it again it was crunching into 4th gear,
and after chancing my luck to see if the extending warranty was still in date with evan halshaw renault :bat:

IT WAS and they happily agreed to replaced the gearbox with a brand spanker :thumbup1:

after that i have fitted a powerflex bush in the lower engine mount



and i also have the front two adjustable powerflex bushes to go in so as i get a new ball joint
from renault under warranty of course



waiting to go on the car is a set of 10mm stub axel spacers from pure motosport
which i think i am going to get some made bigger



a ebay special GT spoiler which turned up today not to sure if i am going to keep it black or get it Ultra Red




also there is a K-tec Y-pipe in the post which will be getting welded in on sunday after
me a [MENTION=23734]CL10 JAD[/MENTION] have had the pleasure of removing the manifold
also getting new flexis aswell to save it coming out again :nope:

will be posting soon again :thumbup1:

Quick update , took the manifold out today and was a piece of piss haha , got it out in hour and half the biggest pain was disconnecting the steering coupling in the footwell, Y-pipe is being welded as we speak so will be back on today with some nice photos
