Time for an update, it’s been ages

There was a bit of a problem with the front Bilsteins, creaking, after 4 months I managed to get some plastic tubing out of them, worked a treat but it really pissed me off. Tubing will be in all mk4 kits now, so they say.

From September last year to keep the miles down, it wasn’t getting used at all only every other weekend, I sold the cup racers about then, not long after a set of Autec Wizards popped up, nice in satin black, I never did get them fitted

Just after the new year, a mate started asking me loads of questions about mk4 ownership & jokingly asked if I wanted to sell, I sad yes, a deal was struck, it went rite at the end of January

So, what next

Something without start - stop & must be manual

A 250 cup - would have to be sport yellow

We looked at a few, in mint condition, utter sheds with loads of owners & high mileage until I had a look on Ktec car sales. Not the usual place I would ever look but they had just what I wanted so on a Sunday morning we went for a look, Dave opened especially for us

1 previous owner, 42k, brand new Corbeau front fixed buckets, 3” decat, turbo smart actuator, bilsteins, 4H quick shift, new discs all round, clutch, cam belt & fluids & little did I know at the time it was as already mapped. Propa pov spec, only option is RS monitor & they’d binned the AC

A couple of weeks later we went back to collect, picked up an induction kit while I was there
