Had my discs and pads replaced last weekend as they were way past their best, I went for EBC yellowstuff pads and grooved front discs - the difference is unbelivable!

I'm not using wheel spacers, the car is completely standard bar the discs and pads.

The old discs and pads were shot to pieces, I've got so much more confidence in the brakes now, didn't think it'd make that much difference at all. Now to try them out at Trax this weekend!

It's difficult to say how much the discs cost, but I was charged £243 for EBC yellowstuff pads all round and the front EBC grooved discs. The guy that fitted them said he'd supply them for 10% extra on top of whatever he could get them trade price, pretty cheap really considering Renault wanted close to a grand to change the discs and pads all round.
