Well its booked for 6th of July.. does anyone know of parts that are prone to failure I should check before hand?

Ball joints,emissions

make sure the "simple" things are ok -

tyre tread depth
all lights working
wipers and washers work
seat belts working fine

ill get them check thanks guys. I've ordered wipers just had new tyres all round lights are spot on seat belts are fine.


The thing I'm worried about is if I'm driving hard I get the worst brake fade and the most awful burning smell. I checked and no brake fluid had leaked out it almost smelt like plastic burning?? I checked the diffuser and its fine and the engine bay is fine but I had to drive for about 5 miles with the windows open to get rid of this toxic smell new pads and brake fluid? which fluid is the best?

You havent mentioned I'f you've checked your pad's/disc's?

Heard that it's good to give your car abit of a blast before mot to help with emissions!!

cat-cleanse and a blast down the motorway if your unsure of the emmisions

checked the pads they have about 4-5mm by the looks of things left on the pad and the front disks have around 2mm lip

whats a cat cleanse?
