I failed my MOT because the exhaust was eaking in the mid section. I had a decat pipe in the boot changed the gasket over and put it back on and it passed. So the gasket had broken. However the exhaust is blowing again. Any reason why the exhaust gasket keeps on breaking? Are there amazing exahust gaskets which would help?

Use some high temp sealant on the join too. Exhaust putty and the like isn't the best.
hey all the exhaust is still blowing just came across this? http://www.engine-dynamics.com/Misc...d104/CatExhaustManifoldGasketandFixingKit.asp would this be a reason? its got its mot soon so ill ask them to check all the hangers and see if its loose.
god dang it. im just trying to figure out the problem.. wish i could get under the car. i dont feel safe driving on a pair of ramps
