mirror caps

Probs a newb question but how do you remove the mirror caps on a 197? Do you simple pull them off or do you have to remove the mirror itself, if so how?

There's a 'How to' in that relevant forum. You need to remove the mirror glass first, then use a screwdriver to gently release them from the tabs. There are about 5 tabs to release. They break easily if the plastic is cold too, so try and take them off in a warm garage.
