Miltek Resonated or Non-Resonated?

Quick question for a friend,

He's looking at getting a Miltek, but is there a big difference between the resonated/center silencer and non-resonated systems?

I've heard the resonated one is actually quieter than standard? And any drone/boom with the non-res system? He's not getting a de-cat or sports cat....
