Miltek - decat and silencer removal?

I have Miltek cat back exhaust.....
I'm considering having the cat taken out (2nd one only). But, i know this causes a flat spot. What i want to know is where. If its between 2 and 3000rpm that doesnt really bother me as i only use the car at weekends for fun. If its anywhere over 4000rpm then i wont bother.
Also thinking about taking out the middle silencer on the Miltek for bit more sound. Anyone done this before???

i have the ktec system with the decat pipe and my flat spot is between 2250-2500. can be annoying at times but if you drive 'sensible' you wont even notice it, its only when you boot it from low down revs its really noticable! hope this helps!

Cheers, the way i see it is that if i notice the flat spot then im in the wrong gear

I have the decat on my miltek and recommend it! Noise is great!! Always pops on gear changes. Im tempted to have the silencer removed too....

Flatspot is around 3k barely notice it if Im honest.

Perfect. Was gona get it done at AMD (where it got fitted) and see what they can do with middle silencer.

Yeah but the decat from them and its free fitting Im going to pipecraft in a month or so and get them to cut it out

Yeah. it was like £52 the decat so worth it!! Haha.
